The ANC Startup Accelerator has launched its first-ever online summit for startups. Dubbed the ANC Startup Accelerator Summit 101, it will provide startups in the accelerator program with the tools and techniques needed to take them to the next level.

This year, the accelerator program is putting on a different face as it embarks on this online summit with its international partners and investors.
About the ANC Accelerator Startup Summit 101
The summit, which will take place on August 12, 2020, is an online event dedicated to providing and sharing knowledge to startups by top-level and experienced founders and executives around the world to boost the startup ecosystem in Cameroon and Africa.

About 95% of startups that fail is not because of lack of effort or ideas for growth. Rather, it’s because they miss out on the fundamentals of business.
It is on this basis that ANC launched this year’s accelerator program with the summit, a unique way to reach other entrepreneurs and founders. For one thing, the program’s aim is to support early-stage, growth-driven companies through training, education, mentorship, and financing.

The launch of this summit comes at a time when registration for this year’s Accelerator program just reopened to give more startups the chance to participate. As such, the deadline for registration has been extended to August 12, 2020.

This program aims to build sustainable and scalable startups in Cameroon by providing seed funding, training, and mentorship for startup growth while preparing them for venture capital investments.

Since its first edition that launched last September 2019, the program has already incubated, trained, and funded three startups that are now walking the path of success. These startups include M Sabi Fashion House (fashion designer of western and African outfits), Anincomedia (graphics and designing agency), and Bens Food (food processing startup).
