Your business has survived the initial setup stage. Congratulations!!! You’ve also set up a business and built a customer base where you are generating enough sales. Surely, you should feel triumphant.

You have pushed your company towards success and avoided the pitfalls of failure experienced by so many embryonic firms.

You are doing okay but not experiencing the desired height of growth. Well, don’t be too hard on yourself. 

Your startup is still in the morning phase and the day, still long. Instead, what you should be doing now is to ask yourself if there are any indications that you are heading towards bigger things.

If you’re not, then you’re not growing. Most common mistakes new businesses make is to ignore marketing, seeing it as an unnecessary expense rather than an income-generating activity.

The mere fact that your business survives without marketing doesn’t mean you’re mature enough. Even Coca-Cola, Dangote, Google, Facebook, and other big-name companies still do marketing.
