The Passive Mind Series – Engaging in Conscious Mind Control

This entry is part [part not set] of 3 in the series The Passive Mind Series

Our minds can be likened to a vehicle, and every vehicle is designed to be optimally controlled by a driver. Now, take your imagination a step further to a scenario where the driver loses control of the vehicle for whatever reason. Whatever the outcome would be, in most cases, is disastrous and fatal.

Understanding how our mind works is key to staying profitable as a trader. I’ll be walking you through the pathway to understanding how to take maximum control of your mind and ensure that you don’t lose control of it at any point. Remember, your mind is the vehicle for profitability and whatever happens to your mind, affects your profits.

If there’s a mental crash, in most cases, it means that your portfolio could experience some disastrous damage.

A Mind in Control

Like every vehicle needs to be driven as no vehicle can drive itself, the mind needs a driver, and it’s very disastrous when passive. I’ll dwell on mind passivity in another blog post, but for the purpose of this article, I want you to understand that your mind does not perform optimally when not consciously and actively controlled.

Let’s take a glance at auto navigation in cars. How efficient and effective are they? Even the autopilot system has higher efficiency because there is less dynamism in flying a plane unlike driving a car where you can’t tell who is stepping on an impulse break, making a wrong turn, overtaking wrongly, and many more unforeseen circumstances that would take a conscious mind to maneuver with dexterity and speed.

A self-driven vehicle might not be too fast to step on the brakes in cases where a child just runs into a moving vehicle or when a car develops an abrupt fault and stops in the middle of a busy highway.

Let’s assume scenarios where there’s a traffic jam and someone switches lanes without any prior notification. A driver with conscious control of the vehicle would be the only option to tackle cases like this, or else there would be a crash or an accident of a sort.

Now, let’s compare the similarities between the scenarios I just painted and how our mind works.

The mind is never efficient if not consciously controlled. The dynamism of life events and occurrences demands that the mind is constantly held in custody and is not left to wander or lose its grip over its emotion and will. I can define a mind in control as one whose thoughts, emotions, and actions are totally subject to its owner.

What’s more, it would be necessary to add that the mind under control is not controlled or affected by external factors or occurrences and is not left to wander in negative thoughts or even accommodates negative charge energies.

If you really understand my scenario on auto-navigation vehicles, then you’ll see how your mind must be in control especially when ‘driving’ through an unpredictable environment like the market.

Your thoughts, emotions, and actions must be solely yours and subject to you alone else, your account, driven by a ‘rogue’ mind, will be headed for doom.

Conscious Mind Control Formula

Over the years, I have proven that in order to consciously control your mind and ensure that it does not go rogue, you must guard it with diligence. Now, that phrase may sound familiar to you, but if not, it’s a spiritual principle enshrined in the scriptures.

Your thoughts, emotions, and actions must be heavily guarded against any form of illusion or delusion that could come from outside its parameters. A mind well guarded is one whose thoughts are constantly appraised peradventure a wrong belief system has unknowingly found its way and camps in its framework.

A mind well guarded is one whose emotions are constantly screened for negative charge feelings which are released immediately lest it sponsors wrong actions.

Lastly, a mind well guarded is one whose volition and willpower are channeled only to the right actions and never does anything that is against the boundary of principles and knowledge.

As a trader, you can’t afford to leave your mind to an auto-navigation system. Your mind is not designed to run itself. Take control of your thoughts, emotions, and actions while trading, and never be influenced by any external factor. Be in charge!
